What is it all about? A good question. What is this about? What is important in my life?

What is the essence of my life - I wonder.

Is there anything that matters to me, a few lines I could write on a scratch of paper?

Maybe I would write my personal version of
Raymond Carver's Quote from the Late Fragment

"And did i get what i wanted from this life, even so?
I did.
And what did i want?
To share some love,
To ride some waves,
To sing some songs.
That's all i wanted on the earth."

A few waves, a little love, a few songs, a bit of life. That should be it? That's all that matters to me in my life?
Yep, apart from being healthy, living in peace and being relatively free of course.

My heart felt joy, in the waves that I was allowed to ride, in the moments i shared with my family, friends and romantical partners. Always when I sang songs, when I played with cats and dogs, wandererd around in beautiful nature, especially in Hawaii, so whenever I felt liveliness, freedom and peace in m…

POST FOUR: Hawaii 50 or 1 Year in Paradise at the age of 50

HAWAII 50 (stands for my age)

I had a dream.I wanted to spend a year abroad in Hawaii. What many poeple do once in their lifetime, mostly after graduation at the age of 20 plus and usually without any other obligations in life and probably paid by their parents.Yeah and some happy couples go to Hawaii once in a lifetime for their wedding or honeymoon. The majority of poeple sees Hawaii zero times in their life.I have been to Hawaii many times so far. But a full year sabbatical on the Islands really is something even for me. I turned 50 this year (2019). When people ask me whether they should go to Hawaii my answer is:Beware; Hawaii is addictive!!!

The life situation at my age, however,is different from that of a teenager. Is the health healthy? Is the budget enough?Do I want to accept the challenge? How strong is the wish?Is it just an escape?I think it allows me a partial exit from my german life.Let me try a different everyday life in a different environment. I mean a real Hawaiian phone n…

POST FIVE: So these are my words. I’m creating them now, just in case something totally unexpected (like a plane crash) happens and I am wiped off the face of the Earth.

I once read Shelby`s (Shelby Allen) last words. She wrote these, before flying to Australia and New Zealand. She thought "Just in case".

I thought, yeah she is right. You never know. I fly to Hawaii (PLEASE CHECK MY POST HAWAII 50).

So I come up with some words here, just in case something totally unexpected (like a plane crash) happens and I am wiped off the face of the Earth.

To my
Mom,
Sister,
and Dad. To my best friends.
To my romantic partners.
To business partners, team mates, colleagues and companions.

Thanks Mom for being the best Mom I could ever imagine. I can't thank you enough for what you did for me. You mean so much to me, you know.

Thanks Sis for being on my side and for being brave. I am proud of you. We are a great team.

Thanks  Pops for everything. We achieved a lot. We can be proud and thankful.

Love you all three very much.

Thanks dear friends:
